Toolkit Manual
Information contained in the Toolkit Manual includes vaccine information, ways to improve VHA employee and volunteer vaccination rates, best strategies for increasing veteran influenza vaccination rates, tools for influenza prevention, FAQs, documentation, treatment with antiviral medications and pneumococcal vaccine information.  Flu Advisories supplement that information and are published throughout the year.

The 2008 recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) include 6 principal changes or updates.  They include recommendations for children, antiviral resistance among influenza viruses in the US, and information about the 2008-2009 trivalent vaccine strains.
